Historically, the production of printed matter has used environmentally unfriendly solvents, inks, papers, and produced a high quantity of waste material. We understand environmental concerns and work in the most environmentally friendly way.
Howitt has a top-down approach to environmental matters, and we hold EMS 14001, Environmental Management System accreditation, to assist in ensuring that Howitt is at the very leading edge of environmentally friendly production.
In addition to the above, we have recently been awarded the FSC Chain of Custody for Promoting Sustainable Forestry. This certification allows Howitt to use the FSC Trademark on certified products and demonstrates that paper supply originates from well managed and sustained forests.
